                       白云山(Mt.Baiyun Park)

    位于市区东北方。白云山遥连五岭，总纳三江，至梧州突而挺起，蜿蜒盘桓，气势磅礴。站在山顶俯瞰远眺，全城风光，远方景物尽收眼底。山上树木参天，晨雾迷漫。在雨后初晴之际，素洁云雾，缭绕飘忽。高耸的白云山就象戴上白面纱，披上白围巾的绿衣少女。唐代诗人孟浩然有诗云："苍梧白云远，烟水洞庭深。"清代诗人李世瑞作诗说："晓露乍薄初日上，晚烟如幂夕阳低。"白云山为梧州八景之一，称作云岭晴岚。
    白云山于1981年建成公园，1988年被定为第一批自治区级风景名胜区。山上先后建起了云峰亭、松云楼、双清亭、风筝台、半山亭、观秋台、松涛虎啸雕塑等设施，并在山下龙泉冲修建龙吟亭、观瀑阁、探幽桥、"二龙戏珠"浮雕等。登上顶端云峰亭，大

有一览众山小的感觉。从云峰亭下来，有一条林荫小道直通风筝亭。白云山东麓山腰处，是有名的"老虎头"，此处山石峥嵘，地形险峻，恰如一只伏卧的猛虎。从风筝亭往北走，有一片桃林。春天桃花盛开时，到这里赏花的人很多，争相拍照留影，正所谓"人面桃花相映红"。远处不时有鸟从树林中飞起，清脆的叫声在山谷中回响。过桃林，上山岗，到了双清亭。亭下面，有一个栩栩如生的老虎雕塑，面对滔滔松海在长啸，好一幅松涛虎啸图。到了节假日，这里游人如织。重阳节，山上更是人头涌涌，数万人登高，热闹非凡。

白云山脚下的龙泉飞瀑，背靠云岭，面临西江，谷涧深长，幽静清雅，危崖壁立，气象森严，寒藤摇翠，绿苔斑驳，蕨草悬垂。涧谷中泉水漫流，水底卵石游鱼可见，嶙峋散石，星罗棋布，或卧伏泉畔，或倚傍水边，莹润奇巧，形态各异。正是"径从杂树荫中渡，泉向奇石罅中潺。"蜿蜓的泉脉自白云山腹涧中流出，正对龙洲砥峙而注入西江。1994～1996年，白云山公园进行大规模的林相改造植物造景工程，将原来以马尾松为主的林相改造成为各种乔灌木和观赏植物混交组成的丰富多彩的南亚热带雨林，显示了春繁、夏丽、秋红、冬青的自然景观。登白云山，可享"沐云海、餐重峦、饮两江、瞰山城"之美。
Mt.Baiyun Park
Situated on the north-eastern side of Wuzhou, Mt.Baiyun Park is one of the Autonomous Region-grade Scenic Spots in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It covers an area of 319.6 hectares, including Mt.Baiyun, Dragon Boat Stretch and Yunlong Garden sightseeing spots.
Mt.Baiyun is the highest mountain of Wuzhou city, with the sea level of 368 meters. Legend has it that the deified Shun Emperor died in Cangwu, while on a prpgress, and his grave is located somewhere on the Baiyun Mountain. From Yunfeng Pavilion---the highest point of the mountain, visitors shall have a panoramic view of the whole city sitting peacefully in the basin surrounded by five ridges and three rivers. When the sky becomes clear after rain, we shall see a fascinating sight of "Rosy Cloud over the Ridges"---one of the great Eight Scenery of Wuzhou. In the north-eastern corner on the top of the mountain, a huge stone looks like a tiger. When the wind whistles in the pine forest, it seems that the stone tiger is running down the mountain, thus bringing the fame of "Tigers are roaring in the soughing pine forest" to the mountain. In Longquanchong, the spring water flows quietly through the winding path in the upper part of the mountain, and it suddenly rushes down like rainfall in the middle of the hill. The water sparks in all directions, blazes with colors through the refraction of the sunshine and roaring like running horses. The famous scenery of "Longquan Rainfall" arises therefrom.
In Mt.Baiyun, the forest is dense and the air is very fresh, monkeys climb the trees and look for food freely keeping its nature of wildlife. The largest breeding center of black langur in the world is situated in Yunlong Garden of this Park. The center has the leading breeding technology of black monkey in the world. There are birds performance hall, water scenery park, stone scenery, barbecue ground, crocodile, peacock, black swan, etc. in the garden.
